Walt Disney World Announces Fall Fun and Everyone can Wear Costumes this Year.

Fall Fun will begin on Sept 15th and last through Oct 31st this year and is bringing some exciting changes to Magic Kingdom.

I can’t remember the last time adults have been allowed to wear costumes to the Magic Kingdom. If you are an adult & you have always wanted to dress in costume to celebrate Halloween, this is your year! Get your costumes ready because Disney is bringing some Halloween party fun into the Magic Kingdom for the first time. Guests of all ages can wear their funniest, Disney-ist, most creative costumes in Magic Kingdom during regular operating hours from Sept 15th – Oct 31st.
Costume masks are still not permitted for adults; only children younger than 14 years old are allowed to wear masks. In addition, all guests are required to wear approved face coverings during their visit.

Halloween Characters
This year there will be more bewitching surprises than we expected. That includes a special Halloween-themed cavalcade with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and pals wearing their favorite Halloween costumes. You might even spot those rascally chipmunks, Chip ‘n Dale, in costume over in Frontierland. Keep your eyes peels for other Disney character friends dressed up and rising the horse-drawn trolley down Main Street. U.S.A.

Pumpkin-themed wreaths will soon adorn the lampposts up & down Main Street, U.S.A., putting guests in the fall spirit as soon as they step into the park.

Fall Treats
Autumn would not be the same without special fall treats, such as the famous Pumpkin-spiced Waffle Sundae at Magic Kingdom. More detailed treat information will be released in the near future. I don’t know about you, but I plan to indulge in as many of these treats that are just as adorable as they are flavorful.

Fall Merchandise
Festive Halloween-themed merchandise will be available in select locations around the park. There will be a new spirit jersey, Loungefly backpack and Minnie Mouse headband, along with a larger selection of apparel inspired by Disney Villains.

Halloween inspired photos will return at Photopass locations throughout the parks. Beware, happy haunts may materialize in the pictures!

Guests will be required to wear approved face coverings throughout the parks & resorts
Park Pass reservations are still required to get entry into the theme parks
