The Disney Fantasy, Wish, Dream & Magic will all sail 3 – 5 night sailings to the Bahamas.
Each of the ships will offer 1 itinerary that will stop at both Castaway Cay & Lighthouse Point. The Disney Fantasy & Wish will sail from Port Canaveral & the Disney Dream & Magic will sail from Fort Lauderdale.

The Disney Treasure will continue it inaugural season of 7 night itineraries to the Caribbean from Port Canaveral.
As far as private island stops, the Disney Treasure will only be stopping at Castaway Cay as of now.

The Disney Wonder will be concluding is second season in Australia and New Zealand.

The Disney Magic The Disney Magic will sail from Galveston, Texas for the first three months of 2025. In April the Magic will sail 7 nights from Galveston to San Juan (THIS sailing will stop at both Lighthouse Point & Castaway Cay) and then return to Florida for 3 – 4 night sailings from Fort Lauderdale & then 4 & 5 night sailings from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas.

Disney Treasure: 10 Unique Room Themes Revealed

When the Disney Wish sailed, one of the most exciting things for me was exploring all of the different room themes. Unlike the classic Disney ships where uniformity reigned supreme, the Disney Wish and its companion, the Disney Treasure, present a tantalizing array of 10 unique room themes that promise to whisk us away to different realms of Disney magic. Each room is a captivating story waiting to be discovered, and as I embark on this enchanting journey, I can’t wait to share the awe-inspiring tales that awaited within each of the meticulously crafted accommodations.

We’ve all seen the Aladdin themed rooms in the Disney announcements, but like the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure will have 10 different themes for the staterooms and some of them are a pleasant surprise.

The themes of the staterooms on the Disney Treasure are as follows:

Pocahontas and Aladdin themed rooms will be on Decks 2, 6 & 7 of the Disney Treasure
Encanto & Up will be on Decks 8 & 9 on the Disney Treasure
Nemo & Luca will be on Decks 10 & 11 on the Disney Treasure

10 Disney Treasure Secrets DisNerds will Love!

If you are a Disney parks fanatic, here are 10 secrets about the brand new Disney Cruise Line ship (the Disney Treasure) that you MUST seek out when you climb onboard. For the first time, Disney is introducing venues inspired by various theme park attractions.

They announced that the Periscope Pub is themed after the spellbinding adventure of Walt Disney’s 1954 film and Disneyland attraction, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Skipper Society (replacing the Bayou Lounge of the Disney Wish is influenced by the Jungle Cruise attraction and the Tomorrow Suite will honor Epcot theme park.

Print this list & take it with you onboard to see if you can spy all of these hidden gems!

At Disneyland Resort, a variety of flora and fauna sprouting around Jungle Cruise gives guests the sense that they are sailing in waterways around the globe. In honor of the original attraction, the plants throughout the Skipper Society on the Disney Treasure will be the same foliage species thriving in Disneyland.
You may notice the vintage-style luggage stacked neatly behind the bar at Skipper Society featured in the artist rendering of the venue. Each suitcase will be plastered with travel stickers that represent locations depicted inside the Jungle Cruise attraction – including the backside of water!
It’s hard to forget the iconic green and red architecture of the attraction building in Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World Resort, which announces to all who see it that they are steps away from a hilarious adventure onboard the Jungle Cruise! As it happens, the green and red tones depicted on the walls of Skipper Society will be exact color matches to the Jungle Cruise attraction marquee at Magic Kingdom.
While sipping cocktails or sampling tasty morsels at Skipper Society, future Disney Treasure guests will hear familiar music playing in the venue, including spiels from the Jungle Cruise attractions around the world! That means you’ll hear Skipper voices from across the globe and in various languages such as English, Dutch, French, Cantonese, and more.
Skipper Society will have a jungle boat name of its own! Imagineers will dub the vessel housing the bar “Ems Empress” after the Ems River where the Disney Treasure will make her first voyage to sea. An “Ems Empress” sign will hang proudly inside the venue when the Disney Treasure sets sail in December 2024.
Throughout the Periscope Pub, guests will discover various artifacts, drawings and books used by Captain Nemo and his brave crew during undersea explorations on the Nautilus.
Only eagle-eyed fans will spot the hidden numbers located behind the bar in Periscope Pub! Disney Imagineers will include numbers on the large submarine pressure gauge decorating the back bar of the venue. These numbers honor the geographical coordinates of Meyer Werft shipyard where the Disney Treasure was built, and the official hull numbers of each ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
The Periscope Pub will offer a delicious menu of light bites, undersea-inspired drinks and craft brews, including three exclusive tap beers that will be uniquely themed to the “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” film and celebrated theme park attraction.
Beloved by generations of Disney Parks goers, Figment is the adorable purple dragon who first debuted at the Journey Into Imagination attraction at EPCOT at Walt Disney World. In the Tomorrow Tower Suite, guests will encounter Figment posing in various hiding places.
Imagineers will place a special sculpture at the base of the Tomorrow Tower Suite’s spiral staircase that honors the iconic EPCOT landmark, Spaceship Earth. The sculpture will bring the spirit of EPCOT to life when guests enter the suite through music and lighting effects.

You will want to discover all of the hidden secrets revealed onboard the Disney Treasure during its inaugural season beginning in late December 2024. The ship will sail 7 night itineraries from Port Canaveral.

New Disney Cruise Line Island Destination at Lighthouse Point in The Bahamas to Welcome Guests in Summer 2024

Today, we announced that Disney Cruise Line will welcome guests to a one-of-a-kind island destination at Lighthouse Point, located on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas, for the first time during its opening season in summer 2024!

Created in close collaboration with local artists and advisors, the vibrant island retreat at Lighthouse Point will be a unique celebration of Bahamian culture brought to life with the quality and service of a Disney vacation.

Keep reading to discover all the latest details about this relaxing beach escape designed with families in mind, infused with the color and energy of Bahamian artistry, and developed with a commitment to conservation at its core.

Uniquely Designed, Sustainably Developed

When guests arrive to Lighthouse Point, they’ll be greeted by distinctive, sweeping architecture in bright, saturated hues — a bold style inspired by nature and created in partnership with local artists.

The curvilinear buildings will at first appear as Bahamian shells scattered along the shoreline. Upon closer inspection, guests will discover artistic expressions of the native flora and fauna of The Bahamas and the pageantry and history of Junkanoo parades. Throughout the destination, references to playful folklore characters will evoke the warmth and charm of the local culture.

Respect for the environment is at the heart of the design. At least 90 percent of the destination’s electricity needs will be met by an onsite solar array, the pier was designed to avoid the need for dredging and elevated walkways will help limit impact on the landscape.

Visitors to Lighthouse Point will have the opportunity to be surrounded by the wonders of nature and get a glimpse into the efforts taking place to conserve wildlife and their unique island habitats.

Fun and Relaxation for Everyone

At Lighthouse Point, families will enjoy a day of fun in the sun as they relax on pristine beaches, embark on active adventures and discover the magic of Bahamian storytelling alongside favorite Disney characters. Much like Disney’s cruise ships and private island of Castaway Cay, Lighthouse Point will offer activities and areas for every age group.

Families can relax and play along white sandy beaches and turquoise waters at the expansive family beach on the east side of the island, which will be centrally located near market-style dining, recreation and other amenities.

A Bahamian art and culture pavilion featuring special programs and local artists will provide visitors to Lighthouse Point opportunities to learn and celebrate the traditions and natural beauty of The Bahamas.

A brightly-colored, interactive family water play area will include two slides, water drums, fountains and more, along with a dedicated space for toddlers.

North of the family area will be an adult-exclusive beach — a glorious stretch of sun-drenched serenity complete with a dedicated dining area for convenient access to food and drinks throughout the day, plus six private cabanas available by reservation.

Children ages 3 to 12 will splash and play at a themed kids’ club under the care of highly-trained Disney Cruise Line counselors. It will include a splash pad inspired by favorite undersea creatures from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Little Mermaid,” plenty of shade and a dedicated dining area.

Set away from the activity of the main family area, a peaceful beach along the south-western shore will be lined with 20 premium family cabanas available to rent, including four double cabanas that accommodate larger groups and offer massage services.

Additional recreational activities will be available for kids and kids-at-heart, including a covered gaming pavilion; a volleyball court and gaga ball pit; watercraft and bicycle rentals; nature trails for hiking and biking; and more. And a collection of new Port Adventures developed in partnership with local tour operators will take guests beyond Lighthouse Point to explore the rich culture and breathtaking beauty of Eleuthera.

Disney’s new island destination is being thoughtfully designed to provide a hassle-free experience for families, including complimentary beach essentials (towels, chairs and umbrellas and lunch) and convenient tram transportation.

Lighthouse Point will open for guests on select sailings in summer 2024.
